Pre-Owned Céline Totes — Phantom, Triomphe Canvas | JoliCloset

The tote has been one of Céline's signature silhouettes since 2010. Our selection holds 634 authenticated pre-owned Céline totes, led by the Phoebe Philo Cabas Phantom and the Cabas Triomphe Canvas (144 pieces) launched by Hedi Slimane, plus the grained-calf Made-in Tote that many buyers use as a work bag.

The Céline tote line-up

The Cabas Phantom, drawn by Phoebe Philo, reads instantly through its scooped handles and flattened side panels that form a diamond profile when set down. Produced in Drummed Calf grained leather or suede, it ran until 2018 and remains heavily searched on the secondary market. The Cabas Triomphe Canvas, more rectangular, in beige tan or black canvas with smooth-calf trim, is the post-2020 logo-led version. The Made-in Tote and Bi-Cabas in thick grained calf cover everyday and work needs through their volume.

Buying a pre-owned Céline tote: price

A new Cabas Triomphe Canvas retails around €2,100, the Cabas Phantom in grained calf was around €1,800-€2,200 before being discontinued. On the secondary market, plan for €600 to €1,400 depending on condition and material. Phoebe Philo Cabas Phantoms in clean condition often pass €1,500 on the European market. Our overall range starts at €250 for worn canvas pieces and goes above €3,000 for unused examples.

Authentication

Every tote is checked before going live: CELINE/CÉLINE Paris signature (the accent disappears in 2018), interior date code, regularity of the saddle stitch on the handles, metal finish of the rivets, and Triomphe-logo alignment on the canvas.
