Our pre-owned BVLGARI sunglasses edit gathers 44 authenticated pairs from the Maison's Luxottica-licensed eyewear line — the most jewellery-forward sunglasses collection in contemporary luxury. Cat-eye frames with Serpenti-scale embossed temples, pilot and aviator shapes set with Swarovski crystals, the logo-forward Bulgari Bulgari double wordmark and vintage Parentesi accents all feature. Acetate, metal and gold-plated frames are represented.

Shapes and signatures

The cat-eye is the house signature — slender Serpenti temples, often decorated with crystal pavé or snake-head motifs, suit oval and heart-shaped faces. The aviator and pilot shapes are universal and unisex. Square and rectangular frames favour round faces and men. Decorated temples are the resale driver: look for Serpenti scale engraving, Bulgari Bulgari double-logo plaques, and full-crystal paved versions that read like jewellery on the temple.

Authentication protocol

Each pair is inspected by our accessories team. We verify the BVLGARI logo laser-etched on the left lens, the model reference and size on the inside of the temple (e.g. "BV6087B 278/T3"), the Made in Italy marking, the CE European conformity mark and — on decorated pieces — the regularity and glue-free setting of the crystals. Hinges, nose pads and lens tint are all tested. The original BVLGARI case, lens cloth and booklet boost resale value when provided.

We grade from Excellent (no lens scratches, crisp logo, tight hinges) to Correct (micro-scratches, possible temple play, minor brass-through on gold-plated metal). Lens replacement at an optician is straightforward and won't compromise authenticity when a BVLGARI-quality optic is used. For prescription conversion, most single-vision and progressive lenses are compatible — confirm with your optician before purchase.
