Three signatures share the range. Vintage Check, reintroduced by Tisci in 2018, reads as a more restrained beige-white-black weave. The TB monogram, two interlocking letters, sits either on the hinge plate (TB Square, Meadow, Margot) or as a lens watermark. Shapes rotate between the signature oversized square, the metal aviator with a Burberry logo across the brow bar, the rectangular everyday acetate, and the feminine cat-eye with crystal-set or engraved temple plates.

Materials and Made in Italy construction

Italian-sourced acetate, metal for the aviators, CR-39 or polycarbonate lenses with UV400 protection. Frames come in tortoiseshell, honey, black, powder pink and gold; lenses range from classic gradient brown to pale pink and silver mirror. Daniel Lee (2022-2025) pushed the palette toward Burberry Blue and mushroom/malt tones, visible on more recent frames. References follow the BE4xxx format (women) or B2xxx (men), with a temple length of 140, 145 or 150 mm etched on the inside.

Four points to verify. Inside engraving: on the temple, "Burberry" followed by "Made in Italy" and the full reference (model + colour + size), all in clean, readable laser engraving. Plates and hinges: screwed metal hinges (never riveted on recent models), TB or Knight plates perfectly aligned. Nova Check register: the tartan must fall symmetrically across both temples and align with the inner plate — a misalignment gives a counterfeit away. "Burberry Prorsum" tell: the Prorsum line was discontinued in 2015, so any pair marked Prorsum pre-dates that year — a useful dating anchor.
