Pre-Owned Chanel Coco Crush Jewelry | JoliCloset

Launched in 2015 by Chanel Joaillerie, the Coco Crush collection is built around one deceptively simple idea: stamp the quilted matelassé motif — a house emblem since 1955 — directly into solid 18k gold. No centre stone, no ornament, just the diamond-pattern texture engraved into the metal itself. JoliCloset currently lists 86 pre-owned Chanel Coco Crush pieces across rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces, each inspected by our in-house experts before it goes live.

The Coco Crush line: rings, bracelets, earrings, necklaces

The Coco Crush ring remains the most searched piece in the collection, with around thirty in stock. It comes in several gauges — mini, small, toi et moi, wide band — plus diamond-paved versions for the higher end. The Coco Crush bracelet covers both rigid bangles and softer chain styles, while Coco Crush earrings split between discreet quilted studs and graphic hoops. The Coco Crush necklaces and pendants carry the same quilted vocabulary on an engraved plaque or medallion.

Beige gold, yellow gold, white gold: reading the variants

Chanel Joaillerie produces Coco Crush in three 18k gold alloys. Beige gold — a house proprietary blend — sits warmer than yellow gold but more neutral than rose gold, and has become the tone most associated with the line. Yellow gold is the most classic option, and white gold is typically reserved for the diamond-paved references. More recently, matte black ceramic versions have appeared on some of the cuffs. The depth of the quilted engraving also varies: it reads sharpest on the wider rings and more subtly on the mini band and stud earrings.

Retail vs pre-owned pricing

At Chanel boutiques, a mini Coco Crush ring starts around $2,100, the small model around $2,850, the wide band or toi et moi passes $4,900, and diamond-paved references move quickly past $11,000. On the secondary market the same references typically trade 25–40% below boutique, with pre-owned Coco Crush pieces on JoliCloset from $950 for the smallest items and up to more than $16,000 for diamond versions. Because the gold is hallmarked 18k, the metal value acts as a floor, which is a large part of why the line holds its resale value so well.

Authenticating a pre-owned Coco Crush

Four checks matter on an authentic Coco Crush: the French eagle's head hallmark certifying 18k gold, the Chanel Joaillerie maker's mark, a serial reference engraved inside the band or on the reverse of the earring, and the quilted pattern itself — on a counterfeit, the diamond motif tends to be shallow or uneven. Our experts run all four checks on every piece, and request the original box and invoice whenever the seller still has them.

Selling your Coco Crush piece

Coco Crush rings and bracelets — especially the mini band and beige gold cuffs — are among the fastest-selling Chanel jewelry references on the platform. List yours on JoliCloset: our experts value, authenticate and publish it with a detailed record. You keep control of the price, and international demand for Coco Crush typically shortens time-to-sale noticeably compared to the jewelry category average.
