Chloé Drew Bag

Launched in 2014 by Clare Waight Keller, the Drew was designed as the after-Marcie — a more structured, more modern Chloé silhouette: the half-moon. Recognizable by its gold C-ring at the strap end, its turn-lock clasp, and its compact shape, the Drew became one of the brand's most-searched bags within a few seasons. Over 50 authenticated examples are currently listed on JoliCloset, from $380.

Sizes and Variants

The Drew comes in Mini (~17×12 cm, an evening clutch with a thin shoulder strap), Small (~21×15 cm, the most common size), Medium (~25×19 cm), and the rarer Drew Bijou with a gold chain strap. A nano version with mini handles appeared later. For the wider range, see our Chloé handbags.

Leathers and Finishes

The Drew exists mainly in smooth calfskin (the most structured, most versatile version), grained leather (slightly more durable), and suede. Seasonal editions in velvet, python, tweed, and bicolor combinations have also been produced. Boutique retail sat around $1,950 for the Small. On smooth leather, inspect the front-right corner (most worn when the bag is set down) and the C-ring finish: it should be clean and bright, without re-lacquering marks.

The Drew on the Pre-Owned Market

The Drew holds value well, especially in classic colors (black, pebble beige, cherry red, navy). Pre-owned, expect $380-$700 for Small pieces in good condition, $700-$1,200 for excellent pieces and Medium sizes. The Drew Bijou with its chain remains rarer and pricier. Authenticating the Drew

On each Drew we verify the C-ring (weight, finish, "Chloé" engraving), the turn-lock clasp (clean rotation, no play), saddle stitching on the flap and bag edge, the interior "Chloé Made in Italy" stamp, the internal serial number, and the regularity of the colored suede lining. An original dust bag and authenticity card are a plus but not systematic.
