Three materials dominate production. Suede (calf suede), often combined with a smooth-leather panel along the bottom, is the most iconic version — the matte/shiny contrast between the nap and the chain is exactly what made the Faye stand out. Grained leather is more durable for daily commuting and holds shape better. A handful of smooth-leather and bicolor runs (black/caramel, beige/black) also surface on the secondary market.
