The icons

Two silhouettes anchor the house. The Sicily (28 pieces), launched in 2009 by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, is the "Sicilian-promenade" silhouette — trapezoidal top-handle, tri-fold opening, gold DOLCE & GABBANA plaque sitting between twin handles. The Devotion (5 pieces), launched in 2019, is the diamond-quilted shoulder bag closed by a cast Sacred Heart. Alongside them, the Miss Sicily (the compact Sicily with removable heart charm) and the Soft, an unstructured hobo in drummed calfskin.

On the Sicily, two different plaque stampings exist across the pre- and post-2015 runs — both legitimate.
