The Givenchy tote splits between two opposite silhouettes: the structured short-handled version inherited from the Antigona Shopping, and the soft 4G canvas shopper revived by Matthew M. Williams in 2021 with the G-Tote. JoliCloset currently lists nearly 60 authenticated pre-owned Givenchy totes, starting at $220 for canvas models and reaching $1,100 for large leather pieces.

The flagship totes

The Antigona Shopping takes the trapezoidal bag silhouette with two flat Pebbled leather handles — a daytime tote worn on the shoulder or in the hand. The G-Tote in coated 4G canvas, launched in 2021, brings a soft flat format with leather grips and repeated monogram. Pebbled leather, 4G canvas or jacquard

Pebbled grained calf dominates the Antigona Shopping — it ages well, takes abrasion and keeps its structure. The coated 4G canvas, lighter and humidity-resistant, is ideal as a weekend or office tote. Rarer jacquards (allover 4G, graphic motifs) hold value better over time.

Prices on the resale market

G-Totes in 4G canvas trade between $280 and $500 depending on condition, against around $750 retail. Pebbled-leather Antigona Shopping pieces sit between $550 and $1,000, with large all-leather editions reaching $1,100. On these bulky formats, buying pre-owned offers the sharpest saving versus new.
