Vintage Givenchy 4G Logo Structured Clutch Wallet c. Late 1970s Burgundy Dark red Leather

Evenings in Paris, as the decade turned—a deep burgundy leather wallet, crisply
structured and fastened with a gold-tone 4G kiss-lock, slips from a coat pocket onto
the bar counter. The clasp, geometric and unmistakable, identifies the piece as
Givenchy: a flourish of the house’s identity on a palm-sized accessory, as the
maison’s name spread from haute couture to everyday life in the late 1970s.
Smooth calfskin panels form the outer shell, their sheen interrupted only by the
gentle curve of the hardware along the top edge. The interior is lined in matching
burgundy fabric, featuring a single main compartment and two slip pockets designed for
cards or folded bills. The original Givenchy box, with the serif logo centered, is still
included.
Condition: Very Good — light surface scratches visible on the leather exterior;
gold-tone hardware retains its shine, structure remains crisp, interior clean.
