I present the "Les robes" silk scarf by Philippe Ledoux, first edition 1968, subsequent editions 1983, 1993, and 1997.

Artist: Philippe Ledoux. Ledoux was one of Hermès's most important designers, specializing in realistic historical and equestrian motifs.

First edition: 1968. Due to its enormous popularity, this design was reissued numerous times (including in 1998) and released in special editions (e.g., Dip Dye). Theme: The title "Robes" refers to the coat color of horses. The cloth features nine portraits of horses, each representing a different coat color (e.g., gray, bay, or tarantula). Each image is captioned with the coat name in French and English.
