L’instruction du Roy Hermès jacquard scarf
ABOUT | Vintage Hermès square in jacquard silk, designed by Henry d’Origny in 1993. The scarf is titled “L'Instruction du Roy en l'exercice de monter à cheval” and is inspired by the equestrian treatise of Antoine de Pluvinel (1552–1620), advisor, chamberlain and first equerry to Louis XIII and Henry IV of France, faithfully reproducing the frontispiece in brilliant red, green and blue colors. In jacquard silk with riders. Hand-rolled edges.
