Chaîne d'ancre Hermès Chaîne d’ancre crossbody in crocodile Porosous miel Brown

This is a rare, vintage Hermès chaîne d’ancre bag. Seen secondhand on auctions or luxury occasion sites for prices of €3,000-€7,000, due to the style rareness and integral preserved condition of the leather. It has gold plated parts, and a super soft, buttery lambskin interior. Condition: both interior and exterior are in extremely good condition for the age of this piece, but do show certain marks with the life of the bag. The interior has a few light markings, as pictured in the interior of the top flap, the bottom corner of the pocket and across from the pouch button closure there is a singular dark spot on the divider pressed in due to long term contact during storage. All logos are intact, and exterior shows singular crack on flap ridge (see photo). The overall exterior shows little age, but does have some beginnings of light fading on minute inspection, and light cracking of patina in some spots. Upper spine of the bag showing beginning traces of cracking which will require specialized care and upkeep. This is inevitable due to the age of the bag which is overall well preserved.
