Pre-Owned Saint Laurent Heels: Opyum, Tribute, Cassandra | JoliCloset

Under Hedi Slimane (who renamed the house in 2012) and then Anthony Vaccarello (since 2016), Saint Laurent built a sharp-edged evening wardrobe: clean silhouette, rock attitude, high heel. Saint Laurent heels sit at the centre of that vocabulary. JoliCloset currently lists 159 pairs of pre-owned Saint Laurent heels, every one authenticated by our team, ranging from about €180 to over €900 depending on model, leather and condition.

The signature styles

The Opyum has become the post-2016 Saint Laurent shorthand: its sculpted metal "YSL" heel — lacquered black, gold or silver — frames the ankle like a logo readable from across a room. It comes as a pointed pump, a sandal and a flat sandal. The Tribute, originally designed by Stefano Pilati in 2008 and carried forward every season since, rides a generous woven platform (heel height 8 to 10.5 cm) that makes it one of the most stable evening heels on the market. The newer Cassandra centres on a discreet polished YSL monogram across the vamp, while the Anja distills the pure pointed-stiletto silhouette with no logo at all.

Materials in stock

Smooth polished calf and patent leather drive most of the catalogue, followed by suede, glitter, sheer mesh and seasonal runs in pony hair or embossed python. For a first pair, black patent calf is the most versatile — it ages slowly, hides micro-scuffs and stays the most resellable colour. Glitter and mesh are best bought new or barely worn: the material doesn't tolerate friction well.

Price and resale value

At retail, the Opyum 110 and Tribute top €800 in boutique; the Cassandra starts around €750. On JoliCloset, expect €180 to €350 for a pair worn several seasons, €350 to €600 for very good to excellent condition, and over €700 for never-worn pieces. Models still in production hold their value better; rare sizes (35, 41, 42) often clear above average.

Authentication and complementary silhouettes

Every pair is inspected before listing: YSL logo stamped on the sole or insole, sculpted or curved heel with no play, leather Italian sole, legible serial number, quality of construction and saddle stitching. Browse the Cassandra, or round out the silhouette with Saint Laurent sandals (145), ankle boots (118), boots (51) and flats (20).
