The Prada Ribbon is one of the most recognisable silhouettes from Miuccia Prada's archive: a structured bag adorned with a wide satin or leather bow tied around a handle or strap. JoliCloset carries a regular selection of pre-owned Prada Ribbon bags, all authenticated.

Features and silhouettes

The Ribbon comes most often in Saffiano calf with a contrasting satin bow tied at the front or down the shoulder strap. Smooth-leather (Vitello) versions exist, alongside smaller editions worn as a clutch. The bow detail, a signature of the early-to-mid 2010s collections, plays an unapologetically feminine card and remains in demand pre-owned for its "Miuccia archive" cachet.

Materials and finishes

Cross-grained Saffiano for the most common version, Vitello calf for the soft editions, satin or hand-tied leather ribbon. Enamel or metal triangle plaque, Prada-Milano logo lining.

Pre-owned price and value

New, the Ribbon ran from $1,650 (mini) to $3,000 (large). On JoliCloset they start at $280 for more-worn archive pieces, around $550-$1,000 for Ribbon Saffiano in good condition, and up to $1,800 for rarer editions or excellent-condition pieces. The Ribbon is an interesting choice for buyers who want a Prada less ubiquitous than the Galleria.
