Iconic square from the Hermès house, titled "Concerto"
Created by Jean-Louis Clerc in 1963. Will be reissued in 1996, in tribute to its success.
This is the moment when all come together to serve one, and where the symphony treats us with the charms of the solo. The concerto, form invented according to some by the Italian violinist Torelli, and later brought to its fullness by the masterful hand of Beethoven, puts into practice the motto of the musketeers: “All for one, one for all ! ". Very simple reason for music to soften manners: it is par excellence, a school of good understanding.
If Jean- Louis Clerc was strongly influenced by Edgar Degas in a subject such as "La Danse", it was by Raoul Dufy that he was influenced for this square "Concerto". Like no other, he knows how to seize the moment and restore the posture characteristic of a musician, then the musical cadence influencing the posture. We really feel like these musicians vibrate while playing. We hear their music… With the eyes !!! A wonder !!!
