Hermès Vintage: Very rare square titled “Horse Breeds”
Signed Hugo Grygkar in 1955. Unique edition.
No copyright therefore for this very rare square, because production prior to the installation of copyright.
9 Paintings (It really is!) which each represent a breed of horse and its rider.
The Danish Horse rubs shoulders with the Spanish Genett and the Beard Horse; the Turkish Horse rubs shoulders with the Spanish Horse and the English Horse; and the Arabian Horse rubs shoulders with the Oldenburg Horse and the Russian Horse. All more beautiful than the others, treated in such a way that the graphics and the colors (especially browns and garnet) give a velvety look to this scarf.
I want to clarify that the colors of the photos are true to reality.
Rare square very sought after by collectors, because unique edition without copyright. the composition tag has been removed.
Excellent condition despite its good age. Defects are reported with a pencil.
