Australian illustrator Jeff Fisher is known for his delicate touch of watercolorist. Living in France for 20 years, he owes his international reputation to the freshness of his style. He illustrated many books and magazines, and published his own book on birds, marking his debut as an illustrator for Maison Hermès. Looking at this bright festive scene with its flamboyant colors on a white background, it is easy to imagine the joy of its creator by composing it: it seems to us to hear the chatter of a thousand birds with brilliant feathers. With their slender or curved beaks, their narrow or crested heads or their huge wings, all large open or folded; each seems to represent a fairy tale, or a country, where freedom would be the amazing gift of an aspiration. Who has never dreamed of metamorphosing into a bird?
Perfectly versatile and mixed, it has never been worn. A marvel! Much more beautiful in reality than in photos, despite the fact that they are fairly faithful to reality.
