This daring composition combines traditional motifs from Kyrgyzstan, mountainous country of Central Asia, in the spotted dress of an Appaloosa, horse raised for centuries by the Native American tribe of Nez-Percés, in the northwestern United conditions. The patterns on which the silhouette of the animal stands out are inspired by shyrdaks, felt carpets made by Kyrgyz women using ancestral techniques passed from mother to daughter. hot, insulating solids, indispensable and beautiful, they constitute one of the riches of the nomadic life.
