Superb square Hermès titled "TIGRE ROYAL"
Created by Christiane Vauzelles en 1977, then reissued many times, which attests to its success.
This "Royal tiger" scarf illustrates a majestic and impassive pose of tiger in a frame that evokes a showcase. A crown floats above his head, symbolizing his nobility and his royal look. Two gold palms on each side, echoing the stripes of his coat, suggest the ceremonial attire adorned with a dignitary. The Bengal tiger, or Royal Bengal tiger, is a magnificent and powerful savage.
