Beautiful Hermès scarf titled "Voyage en Etoffes"
Created by Annie Faivre in 2016.
Stretched on worked woods, ceremonial outfits from around the world are organized in a kind of colorful puzzle. The art of costume reflects the spirit of a people, his beliefs and rites, its customs and traditions, his gestures and his postures. Coats, dresses or tunics express the singular as the universal, and this desire so much shared to show the best part of oneself, its most beautiful appearance. A great harmony emerges from this composition because from north to south and from east to west, textiles and techniques differ substantially. linen, silk, Cotton, hemp, batiks, ikat, indigos, embroidery ... And the multitude of imagined patterns nevertheless reveals, here and there, some similarities.
