Graduate of Saint Martins and Prince's Drawing School in London, Alice Shirley collaborates regularly with the Natural History Museum of the city. At the same time seduced by the myth of Pegasus and the indomitable character of zebras, Alice Shirley reinvents the legend and takes her on a journey, to southern Africa. The heavenly mount of Zeus, which caused the spring of the muses to blow out with a hoof, and that the king of Gods changed into a constellation, abandons the immaculate whiteness that is usually attributed to him to adopt the two-color coat of his equine cousins. And to perfect this new portrait, exotic, its wings take on the shimmering colors of parrots! Did he acquire, by the magic of metamorphosis, the speech ? Nobody knows…
