Hot colored cotton cloths named Madras - the Indian city that saw them born -, Scottish of all shades, tiles with multiple colors ... the pattern, playing lines and right angles, contains a thousand variations. At eight, to ten, at twenty, the traits are refined, thickens, rub shoulders and intersect in an infinity of combinations whose colored chords multiply the themes. Some of them, elected by this square of silk, intertwine and combine in circles, in right, curved, and from this composition is born an expensive form at home: the famous Ex-Libris... checkered.
