Pre-Owned Hermès Bolide Bag Authenticated | JoliCloset

Created in 1923 by Émile-Maurice Hermès, the Bolide is one of the very first zippered bags ever made. Its bowling silhouette, hand-stitched handles and arched zip make it a discreet maison classic. Bolide sizes and formats

The Bolide 27 and Bolide 31 are the everyday sizes, available with or without shoulder strap. The Bolide 1923 re-edits the original rounder silhouette. The Mini Bolide launched in 2018 as a belt charm/strap accessory. The Bolide 35, 37 and 45 are cabin bags. Hardware in gold (GHW) or palladium (PHW), occasionally in Touch editions (leather + crocodile).

Hermès leathers

Togo and Clémence dominate recent production, Epsom appears on Bolide 1923, and Box Calf dressed the vintage Bolides. Rarer: Barenia with its root tan, Crocodile or Lizard. The Bolide takes patina well — many 10 or 20-year-old pre-owned bags still display beautifully.
