Launched in 1997 by Pierre Hardy, the Oran sandal has become the most recognizable flat slide in luxury. The cut-out H over the upper, the hand-stitched flat sole, and the French tannage make it a summer benchmark. Oran variants

The classic Oran in smooth calf remains the reference. The Oran Box in glossy Box Calf delivers a dressier finish. The Oran Suede and Oran Veau Doblis bring a matte hand. The Oran Braided and Oran Metallic appear sporadically. The maison also issues exotic-leather Orans (lizard, alligator) in very limited editions.

Colors and sizes

Hermès produces the Oran in dozens of seasonal colorways. Classics (Noir Box, Gold, Étoupe) stay in store year-round. Seasonal colors (Capucine, Vert Bambou, Bleu Indigo, Rose Mexico) become collectible. Sizes 35 to 41 (occasional half sizes).
