The Sarah Wallet is one of the absolute classics of Louis Vuitton small leather goods — a long flap wallet with snap closure, twelve card slots, two banknote compartments and a central zipped coin pocket. Specifications and formats

The classic Sarah measures 19 × 10.5 × 2.5 cm — a long format slipped into the hand or into a Neverfull or a Speedy. The build has barely changed since launch: twelve aligned card slots, two banknote compartments, a central zipped pocket, plus two flat outer pockets under the flap. The closure is a discreet snap stamped "LOUIS VUITTON".

Canvases and leathers

The Sarah has been produced in Monogram (with natural Vachetta interior on early generations, dyed leather interior on recent ones), Damier Ebene, Damier Azur, Monogram Empreinte (embossed leather), Monogram Vernis (lacquered patent leather) and Epi. The Multicolore Murakami editions (2003-2015) sit today among the most collected.

Authentication

On Sarah wallets pre-dating 2021, the two-letter four-digit date code is heat-stamped inside, usually on the leather lining near a banknote compartment or on a sewn leather tab. Recent pieces carry an embedded RFID chip.
