Pre-Owned Saint Laurent Totes: Shopping, Rive Gauche | JoliCloset
Saint Laurent totes cover daily wear and work life: 119 pre-owned pieces on JoliCloset, from the Shopping in canvas with leather handles to the oversize-logo Cabas Rive Gauche and Anthony Vaccarello's quilted ICare (2022).
Models and silhouettes
The Shopping is the heritage tote: beige canvas, leather handles, A4 format — the Pilati-era archive piece still in demand. The Cabas Rive Gauche (8 pieces) plays the oversize-logo card in linen, raffia or embossed leather. The ICare (Vaccarello, 2022) offers a soft quilted format in lambskin or sheepskin — a direct alternative to the Bottega Jodie or Loewe Puzzle Fold. Seasonal raffia and canvas editions round out the summer selection.
Uses and capacity
The Shopping and Cabas Rive Gauche fit a 13" MacBook, folders and A4 format — office and business travel. The ICare runs more compact, shoulder format, ideal for weekend or shopping. Raffia versions (Panier, Rive Gauche raffia) are assumed summer pieces: real capacity, but seasonal use.
Materials and care
Saint Laurent's beige canvas on the Shopping ages well but marks at the corners; the leather handles patina beautifully. The quilted grained calf of the ICare is highly durable. Natural raffia needs to be stored flat off-season. The embossed leather of the Cabas Rive Gauche holds its rigid silhouette over time.
Pre-owned pricing
A new canvas Shopping retails above $1,300 in boutique; secondhand it lands between $400 and $800 depending on condition. The Cabas Rive Gauche in canvas starts around $500 secondhand, leather versions between $900 and $1,600. The ICare retails at $3,200; budget $1,700 to $2,500 in very good condition. Other Saint Laurent bags and travel bags complete the work and transport offer.
