The Neverfull (over 930 pieces) comes in three sizes — PM, MM, GM — in Monogram, Damier Ebène, Damier Azur, Empreinte and artist editions (Stephen Sprouse, Takashi Murakami, Yayoi Kusama). The OnTheGo is the structured two-tone Empreinte-leather tote, available in PM, MM and GM, introduced by Nicolas Ghesquière in 2019. Canvases, leather and sizes

The Monogram canvas with natural vachetta trim is the classic; it darkens and patinas in the sun. Damier Ebène is darker and less fragile with stains. Damier Azur is summery. Empreinte — calf leather embossed with the monogram in relief — offers an all-leather version with no vachetta to patina. Size-wise: PM for daily use (29 cm), MM for work and a laptop (32 cm), GM for the pool or weekend (39 cm).

Authentication: what to look for

Counterfeit Neverfulls are everywhere — our team checks: Monogram or Damier symmetry on both sides (the Neverfull has a mirrored canvas), handle stitch pitch, vachetta alignment, padlock and rivet engraving (LV engraved in, never in relief), interior heat-stamp, and the presence of the original removable zip pouch (a key resale factor).
