The signature clutches

The Pochette Métis (boutique €2,400, pre-owned €1,400-2,200) is the compact it-bag of recent seasons: S-lock LV turn-key flap, removable shoulder strap, available in Monogram Empreinte or Monogram canvas. The Pochette Félicie doubles as clutch, crossbody or wallet-on-chain with two removable inserts. The Pochette Accessoires remains the historical reference — flat format, passport-ready. The Kirigami comes as a nested trio of three sizes, each with chain holes to become a crossbody. The Mini Pochette Accessoires clips onto a Neverfull or an OnTheGo.

Canvases and leathers

Monogram canvas with vachetta dresses most of the clutches. Monogram Empreinte (embossed calf) carries no vachetta and patinas fully as leather. Authentication: sensitive points

On the Métis, we check the S-lock turn-key LV engraving, the perfect Monogram alignment on the flap (the pattern must continue seamlessly under the flap), Empreinte leather thickness, and stitch regularity. On the Félicie, we verify the removable inserts (often missing on counterfeits, and the original box lists them). Post-March-2021 pieces carry an RFID chip; older pieces a date code.
